Call widget when focus not on cosmos
vincent haney
The widget appearing over my screen and "dropping" my call to another from of display really is a downgrade. The "picture-to-picture" functionality makes it impossible for me to look at my colleagues screen while doing work on my other monitor.
I don't want my call to drop and not be able to watch my colleague's screen when my window focus is not on Cosmos.
My window focus should not influence how my cosmos behave. Please either give the other the possibility to opt opt from this feature.

You can close the popout and it brings it back. If you don’t want it to start >> the drop down next to call (tab). Switch off the auto-popout.
Does it sort out your issue?

- If I press the popout, it brings back Cosmos to the call, but also casues me to bring the focus back on Cosmos. The second I click away, it brings back the picture-in-picture.
- Even if I uncheck the auto-popout, it still pops the picture-in-picture widget instead of keeping the call normal
- The one thing that sorted it was the pop-in video next to the full-screen option.
Thanks for pointing out different options. This wasn't quite intuitive though. Having call options at two different spots and forcing a new setting onto users

vincent haney where would you expect the call settings to be?
vincent haney
Karan Baweja User preferences > Audio & Video, or inside a call section in the user preferences. Much easier for the user to find any setting when they're not spread around the app
Karan Baweja
vincent haney ok we’d link them up.
