Currently the camera provided feed is software resized/forced into a 640x480 video stream. The camera provides the video stream in it's default resolution/aspect ratio setting, which is not adjustable from the cosmos app.

It would be great if there would be a feature to select the supported modes of the camera on a driver level.

As a side effect of the current solution, having a camera with multiple function modes, the resulting stream can not be controlled by the user, and the resolution/aspect ratio is up to the camera driver automatic mode selection to decide.
