I would like to be able to join specific rooms from my mobile, not just ongoing conversations (e.g. logging in early for a meeting, want to be first in the meeting room)

the benefit of the room layout is a feeling of being present in the space. that the mobile app has no room layout at all breaks that experience .

i do get that implementing the whole room layout experience might consume more dev time then might be warranted but a static image of the room layout that is updated once every few seconds so i can see who is where. and that i can click somewhere to move there might be an easy and great start to feel part of the team on mobile
