Option to have quiet/static emoji reactions

The clapping sound and animations are disruptive and distracting during calls, especially as someone who is neurodiverse. I also have a hard time seeing my colleagues' faces / facial expressions when the emojis are flying around their faces. My team loves these animations, but I wish I had an option to turn them static (i.e. just see a heart in the corner) for myself so we can all enjoy the experience.

Option to disable clapping sound

A colleague said it bothers her, it would be great to be able to disable them if wanted

more students also asked for this feature of being able to personally mute the clapping emoji.
The processing of auditory stimuli in the brain is not the same for everyone, and some experience a heightened emotional response when faced with certain sounds/noises. This can be stress, anxiety, irritation, confusion...
The possibility of turning the sound on or off on an individual basis for that specific emoji would be great. It's also a matter of accessibility and inclusivity too

thanks we'll pick this up soon.

I came here to make exactly this feature request, also based on a ToU experience :) I guess the larger the participant group and the more „announcement style“ sessions where people are inclined to clap, the more distracting the effect

Adding to this, a lot of emoji reactions significantly decrease the quality of the connection and "overwhelm" Cosmos for a brief moment. Would be great to have a tuned down version that caters to the needs of neurodiverse people and to ensure a stable connection.

I like the animations but the single clap sound is distracting. The ability to toggle them on and off per user makes sense.
